There are several free blogging services. I choose WordPress because a friend of mine who’s pretty smart uses it (again, more evidence that word-of-mouth still matters, even in the digital world). WordPress is probably the second most popular blogging service, with Google’s Blogger in the lead.
Wikipedia maintains a list of blogging services if you want to look into them yourself.
